Ballina Arts Centre Redevelopment

Ballina Arts Centre's Redevelopment campaign is a fundraising appeal to develop Ballina Arts Centre into an exciting, modern arts venue.

The development will comprise an extension to the existing building on Barret St., incorporating a 240-seat auditorium, a dance studio, a studio rehearsal space, a second exhibition gallery and coffee shop.

This will allow Ballina Arts Centre to expand its programme of arts events and activities and give the people of the Ballina community opportunities to participate in, engage with and enjoy the arts.

All monies raised in the past will be acknowledged. Now, the dream is closer than ever to becoming a reality...

How you can support

In order to raise the target amount, there are number of ways to support this flagship cultural development for the county.

Buy-a-Seat

Each seat costs €500. Your donation will help ensure the high quality of this space for performance in Ballina. By buying a seat you can honour a loved one; celebrate your family name; recognise your company; honour your club or organisation; become part of Ballina Arts Centre's history.

Recognition

In return for your support you will receive

  • Your family or company name on permanent display in the theatre foyer
  • Two invites to attend the gala opening of the Ballina Arts Centre
  • Two tickets to an exclusive Seat Buyers Night in the opening season
  • Positive and long-lasting association with a progressive, exciting multidisciplinary arts project
  • A tax break on your donation (we are a registered charity)

The recognition of your gift in the theatre foyer will be a permanent symbol of your generosity for thousands of visitors to view each year.

Private Donations

All donation programmes allow you to become linked to Ballina Arts Centre on a long-term basis. Once the new centre is completed, donors and supporters will have the option of having a family or company name on a plaque in the new foyer, along with a number of other benefits. Because Ballina Arts Centre is a registered charity all donations above €250 are eligible for tax breaks.
