Ballina Arts Centre are currently in the middle of their Redevelopment Fundraising campaign. The campaign is the final piece of the jigsaw in the Centre's efforts to develop the existing Arts Centre into a full-scale dedicated multi-purpose arts venue. The redevelopment will include a 240-seat theatre, a dance studio, a studio rehearsal space, a second exhibition space, coffe shop and other facilities, and will make Ballina Arts Centre one of the finest arts venues in the west of Ireland.
Funding is already in place from the Dept. of Arts, Sports & Tourism (under their ACCESS II scheme), Mayo County Council and Ballina Town Council. Their remains a shortfall of €500,000 to be raised at local level.
In order to raise this, Ballina Arts Centre will be calling on the community of Ballina and its hinterland to help achieve what will be a fantastic amenity for the town. Over the next few months, there will be a programme of fundraising events. Please support if you can.
