Ballina Comedy Club: Edwin Sammon, Danny Ryan and Siobhan Brosnan   theatre

Offaly native Edwin Sammon has established himself as one of the most popular comedians in the country over the last few years, his unpredictable and crowd pleasing style saw him win the Tedfest Golden Toilet Duck award in 2011 and led to him supporting the likes of Jason Byrne, Phil Jupitus and Ardal O’Hanlon while performing at major festivals and comedy clubs across Ireland and the UK.

He went on to appear on RTE’s New Comedy Awards and in 2013 he was part of the sold out nationwide Lads of Comedy tour. Edwin has also starred as Fr. Gabriel in RTE’s latest sitcom Bridget and Eamon.

Danny Ryan is an award-winning comedian from Limerick. He is a hit in Ireland’s top comedy clubs with his offbeat storytelling and sharp one-liners. The winner of the national Show Me the Funny competition and runner-up at last year’s Irish Comedian of the Year, he has also performed at Electric Picnic, Vodafone Comedy Carnival, Longitude and brought is solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Siobhan Brosnan is comedian/school teacher hailing from the Kingdom of Kerry. Wasting no time with comedy, Siobhan has performed all over the country in the last year and made shit of her Yaris in the process. She also co-runs the PaddyShack Comedy Club in Galway city.

Be warned, Siobhan will blindside you with her dark humour and sharp observations.
