Trudie Mooney: The Shape of Things  exhibition finished

Trudie Mooney aims for balance and tranquility in her paintings, choosing objects and fabrics which will either complement or contrast with each other in a considered composition. The subject may be observed, remembered  or imagined. She often returns to the same shapes with a fresh eye to explore the interaction between them in a distinct configuration. Eoin Whelehan: As Rare as Hen's Teeth  exhibition

Expanding on a series of previous works, 'As Rare as Hen's Teeth' re-imagines urban and rural buildings across the country. Consisting of miniature paintings, the project seeks to document vanishing elements of Ireland's physical and mental landscape. Specifically depicting old shop fronts with residential dwellings above them, the work incorporates sign writing as a way of letting the structures tell their own story.
