Will Killeen
Widely regarded as Ireland’s finest acoustic blues export since Rory Gallagher, Will Killeen is considered to be one of the foremost slide guitar players in Europe.
A dazzling finger-picking stylist, he also plays banjo and harmonica and sings with a voice steeped in early American Blues.
Born in Mayo, Killeen taught himself guitar from the age of 10, influenced by Howlin' Wolf, Doc Watson, The Pretty Things, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan and the Roiling Stones to name a few.
He was performed at countless venues and festivals around London and the rest of England, and tours regularly in Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Italy, Germany and the United States.
A unique Blues guitar-style shows influences from a mixture of Country, Celtic, Eastern and Rock music.
